L’Oreal’s new holiday collection features a few nail polishes, part of a limited edition collection called Sparkling Soiree Nail Collection. There are six nail polishes, four cremes and four glitters to layer on top and I have four of eight polishes swatched here.
Almost Midnight, the only creme I tried, is a gorgeous blackened plum creme with an amazing formula and consistency - opaque in two thin coats and super fast to dry. Its a beautiful color for fall and winter. The glitters are good to layer on and they pack quite a bit of chunky glitter in just one coat. I found them a bit glitzy for my liking though, since I prefer cremes and subtle shimmers over full on glitter, but if glitter polishes are your thing, these are worth looking into. Almost Midnight on the other hand is something I’d get a lot of use out of! The glitters are, 24 Carat (gold flakes), Pink Party Dress (chunky red and pink) and Snow Globe (multi colored glitters suspended in a fine shimmery silver base).
